Some suspected oil thieves, whose number was yet to be ascertained as at Tuesday, were believed to have been burnt to death while scooping fuel at a vandalised pipeline at Ije-Ododo, near Ijegun in Iba Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.

The fire, according to an eyewitness, started around 9pm when about 30 people arrived the scene of the incident to scoop fuel into hundreds of 50 kg jerry cans from the burst pipeline. Minutes later, there was an explosion and fire broke out, consuming those scooping the fuel and their equipment.

Man breaks manhood during sex with girlfriend

HORROR

**girl friend was on top, and was bouncing too high.
**he required 10 stitches to fix.

This is simply unbelievable as it is weird – never heard of a broken penis before until now. According to TMZ, MMA fighter Ray Elbe who competed on “Ultimate Fighter 9″, had to be rushed to a hospital in Malaysia earlier this month after he broke his man-hood during sex; a condition that required 10 stitches to fix.

According to the fighter, he was having fun with his girlfriend who was “on top” when she bounced a little too high, and crunched his erect manhood.
According to Ray, his penis “fractured” … and “blood was everywhere” and immediately passed out from the pain. It was at a nearby hospital that he underwent surgery to close the wound and repair a “slight tear” in his urinary tube.
Ray is expected to make full recovery — and was ordered to take “anti-erection pills” for two weeks. - TMZ.

WOULD YOU PAY N120,000 PER TERM FOR YOUR 2-YEAR KID TO ATTEND PRE- NURSERY SCHOOL?

THROUGHOUT the world, education plays a crucial role in all sectors of a nation’s economy. Education is very essential for nurturing an individual’s mind.

However, the high cost of education across the country today has negated the United Nation’s perception of education for all as a right, rich or poor. Exhorbitant school fees do not allow many citizens to go further in their academic pursuit. The lingering high cost of education in Nigeria is becoming unbearable according to many, as it is only privileged Nigerians that can give qualitative education to their children.

*IS THIS TRUE?

Is School authority permitted to perform virginity test on their female students?

The Punch reported this morning that the principal at Ajuwon Senior High School, Ajuwon, Ifo Local Government Area, Ogun State, Rev. Olufunke Oladeojobi, has been questioned by the police for conducting virginity tests on the pupils.

The test, carried out on Monday last week was done without the consent of the parents/guardians of the pupils of the female Senior Secondary School 1 pupils.

During the test, it was alleged that the principal and the nurse touched the students in their private parts and inserted fingers into them.

fter the exercise, which took place at the principal’s office, each of the pupils was given an exercise book.

A 15-year-old pupil, said the principal came into the classroom on the day and announced that all female SSS 1 pupils should converge on the assembly ground asking that those who had yet to lose their virginity should stand apart.

She said, “We are over 600 in SSS 1 but only about 300 of us are females. Those of us that are virgins are 38 and we were matched into the principal’s office with the assistance of members of staff. The principal later addressed us and threatened that any pupil who fails the test would have her name written in the school’s black book and would be suspended.”

The student said she became apprehensive when everyone who emerged from the office where the test was being carried out came out with a sad and disgusting look.

She said, “When my class captain emerged from the room, I asked her why anyone that came out of the office looked depressed? I was held spell bound when she told me that the principal and the nurse dipped their fingers in turns into their private parts, adding that she had started bleeding as a result of the penetration. Just as I was asking further questions from her, the principal dashed out of her office and announced that she had discovered one student who had lost her virginity out of the 10 students that were examined. She wrote her name on one of the notice boards in her office and ordered the rest of us to return to our various classes. Two of my friends who had similar experiences burst into tears as they narrated what happened.”

Another student said the principal was happy that she was able to “catch a promiscuous pupil” as she felt proud to discuss it on the assembly ground the next day.

However parents of the 10 pupils stormed the school in protest against the development and the pupils rebelled against Oladeojobi last Wednesday as they did a sit-in on the assembly ground protesting and demanding that she should be redeployed from the school.

The parents got the police involved and said that the principal confessed that she conducted virginity tests on the pupils and that ‘she was trying to help them.’ However they said she was not detained because of the consideration that she was a civil servant.

Some Kaduna muslims celebratres Yakowa death

kaduna Celebrates Governor's Death. - by Aliyu Bello.
**"great, our Muslim brother will replace him".

Shocking as it may sound, and un-Nigerian it was, as some Kaduna residents were agog with celebration when the news of the death of Governor Yakowa filtered in from Bayelsa.

People in Kawo, Angwarimi, Tudun Wada Pawa, Angwan Dosa, Mararaban Rido, some parts of Zaria and other surrounding villages are having "a shocking but fanatics jubilating" and youths driving bikes recklessly as if its Sallah celebration.

All Mai shayi joints are full with smiling faces of people who are delighted in ignorance that a brother died, that a governor who have giving leadership his best, a man that in honestly have excelled more than any governor in the North today, simply because he is not one of us.
He is a Christian, and one of our own, a Muslim brother will replace him as the state new governor.

This is a big shame and quite embarrassing to an average God fearing Muslim, who is aware that life and death is only in the hands of Allah most compassionate. - Aliyu Bello.

MUST READ Nkiru Sylvanus Kidnapped

KIDNAPPING: IS THERE AN END IN SIGHT? WHAT’S THE WAY OUT?

Until a few years ago, kidnapping was something people of Nigeria only read about in novels. The escalating incidence is no news to many. Despite increased awareness however, the rate at which such incidents occur is very alarming.

The new wave of abductions in Nigeria remains a security challenge, in fact, calling for an unusual attention by the authorities. No week elapses without one or more taking place somewhere in the country and sometimes with fatalities.
Although there is no official study that has documented the link between the harsh realities of poverty, hunger, starvation, and joblessness, experts say the growing trend may not be unconnected with such factors.

So how did Kidnapping assume this dangerous height in Nigeria?

In its report on kidnapping in Nigeria for the period of January to June 2012, ASI Global Response, a leading response consultant in the field of kidnap for ransom, extortion and hostage-taking, out of the reported kidnappings that occurred in Nigeria, 50 per cent of the victims were businessmen, businesswomen or their family members.

“The second most targeted group in 2012 has been local rulers, politicians or their family members, at 24 per cent of reported cases. Doctors and priests/pastors have accounted for nine and four per cent of victims, respectively. Most abduction occurs while the victims are travelling on roads, although they often take place at victims’ homes or their places of work. The average initial ransom demand in 2012 has been US$490,000 with settlements averaging US$50,000. It should be noted, however, that ransom figures are rarely reported and these averages may be on the low side due to lack of data,” states the report.

Kidnapping first captured people’s consciousness in February 2006, when militants in the Niger-Delta started abducting foreign oil workers, ostensibly to draw attention to the criminal neglect and privations suffered by the oil producing communities of the region.
Most of the early victims were usually set free after a few days in captivity. But, with time, when the potential for quick money with relatively lower risk became apparent, kidnapping soon blossomed into a “lucrative business.”

With that realisation also came a change in approach, the targets shifting from foreigners to practically anybody – the rich, the poor, government officials, private individuals, professionals, octogenarians and toddlers; no discrimination. Cases where the main targets have been missed, their parents, wives, children or other relations have been taken. They are picked up and only breathe the air of freedom once more weary after the ransoms (CULLED FROM: CENTRAL POST)
