These criminals are paraded before journalists, sometimes almost naked with visible physical wounds and bruises attributed to the police and recently, their lifeless bodies have been displayed at police stations.

The Police in Gombe State have displayed the corpses of suspected criminals at the command's headquarters. They said the suspected criminals were shot during a gun battle with police which lasted for about 30 minutes.
